Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Delcy Rodriguez

In the past few days, the OAS 47th General Assembly has been the trending topic on media. The main issue to discuss: the crisis in Venezuela.

And to solve the political and social problem that “affects” the region stability many of the OAS state members tried to pass a resolution to stymie the Constituent Assembly promoted by the Venezuelan government.

The draft resolution on Venezuela was hold by the U.S and Mexico, followed by other 20 of 34 states. But the number of members supporting the bill didn´t reached the 23 votes required.

As many media and people said, the plan of those wanting to supervise Venezuelan situation was a failure and no one can deny the diplomatic battle, which was successful for Delcy Rodriguez and her delegation despite the multiple attacks.
